Team Race

Team RACE is a community of fun-seeking bike riders that share a love of sport. We embrace athletes of all abilities and interests.

First timers will appreciate the cycling tips and encouragement offered by the outgoing group. More advanced riders will discover refreshed motivation for training along with plenty of opportunities to ride longer and harder with people of similar ability and goals.

By participating in sanctioned Team R.A.C.E. cycling events, you’ll help raise funds on behalf of selected charities that improve the quality of life for people engaged in the race against cancer. It’s like being Lance Armstrong - without the years of agonizing training.

NEW FOR 2008

As part of the membership obligation, Team RACE is looking to all members to make an annual donation to our club's affiliated foundation, the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. Every dollar raised is distributed to programs that improve the quality of life for children undergoing and recovering cancer treatment in Canada. Many Team RACE members are already familiar with the foundation but you are invited to visit www.coasttocoastagainstcancer.org for information on the important programs it supports.
