2006 was my first season with Team R.A.C.E. It was a very busy year. On the road, I raced in 3 National Race Calender road stage races – Nature Valley Grand Prix Women’s Prestige series race, Fitchburg-Longsjo Classic and the International Cycling Classic, as well as several Provincial level road races.
 
On the track, I defended my Provincial Championship title in the Pursuit, 500 metre time trial and Points race. I also raced in the Friday night Professional Race Series in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania, posting several top-10 finishes at my first UCI sanctioned track events. An unfortunate crash 3 weeks before Track Nationals took me out of contention to win the National Championship title, but I am now looking forward to the 2007 season. I will be riding for the newly formed "Team R.A.C.E. Professional Track Cycling team", and will be competing in the UCI World Cup Track Circuit beginning early in the new year.
 
The Team R.A.C.E. charity represents an amazing cause, and I’m very proud to have the opportunity to bring Team R.A.C.E. to the International Track Cycling circuit in 2007. Watch out for the Team R.A.C.E. colours at the Los Angeles Track World Cup in January!
